Feedonomics Enrichment documentation updates

The enrichment guides now state setup requirements up front, explain how self-managed accounts get enriched fields into their exports, and use the Feedonomics Enrichment product name throughout.

  • US English output — enriched content is generated in US English only, with US spelling, grammar, and conventions. Noted on the scope page, in the FAQ, and in the brand voice guidance.
  • Product images required — every product you enrich needs at least one product image in its source data. Leave products without images out of your batches.
  • First enrichment run — the checklist now includes setting a primary ID (key) on your database and having product images in place. The guide gives step-by-step directions to the Enrichment tab (Data > Raw Data > Enrichment), explains how uploading your brand guidelines improves results, and adds getting fields mapped as a next step.
  • Mapping enriched fields to exports — on Feedonomics Enrichment (self-managed), you get enriched fields mapped by submitting a FeedSupport ticket, and the guide lists what to include. On Feedonomics Managed Enrichment, the Feedonomics team handles mapping.
  • Reviewing re-runs — new guidance to review every field a new run produces before you accept it. A re-run regenerates fields that are already mapped to an export, and accepting it updates those exports on the next build.
  • Using enriched fields with transformers — enriched fields can be mapped as is or transformed first. The guide also explains why an existing optimized field like title_opt shouldn’t be repointed at an enriched field.
  • Editing enriched content — the “which tool for which job” guidance is easier to scan, and you can ask the Feedonomics team to set up transformers through FeedSupport.
  • Measuring impact — AI-assistant and referral traffic and on-site behavior are now marked as available for BigCommerce stores only. Paid media measurement is available to all customers.
  • Product naming — the docs now say Feedonomics Enrichment and Feedonomics Analytics instead of FDX Enrichment and FDX Analytics.
